Becoming homeless is often a symptom of many other multiple and complex issues such as mental health, addictions and family breakdown.Streetwork’s mission is about enabling a life off the streets and we focus on where people are most at need and at risk – on the streets. We don’t wait for people to find us; we find them, and we spend a minimum of 84 hours each week on the streets of Edinburgh, helping the most vulnerable people. We work with people on their own terms and at a pace that suits them so that each change made is sustainable in the long term.
We are out on the streets of Edinburgh offering support to the most vulnerable people, giving immediate crisis support, encouraging them to use our range of services and starting the process of enabling a life off the streets.
